"Do you want to go see a mackerel that's actually alive?"

In a classroom that feels more like a fish tank, fifteen-year-old Ji-ho is just getting by.

But after spotting a 50-millimeter blue dot behind kyung-ju's ear, Ji-ho's heart starts doing somersaults.

As they start to find excitement in their everyday, rumors swirl uncontrollably about Kyung-ju in the school...

They decide to escape the cramped classroom in search of the thrashing, real-life mackerels in the sea.

The play "Mackerel" resonates with everyone: teens navigating their way, children on the cusp of adolescence,

and adults reminiscing about their teenage years. It invites us to question whether we're truly "living." 

As we tag along on their adventure, we're reminded of the wonder and vibrancy of life.
